Standards Equivalency Guide

Common ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ANSI, and ASME relationships used in construction, fastener, material, and engineered support specifications.

Verify before substituting. These relationships are a practical reference only. Always confirm the project specification, revision year, grade, finish, dimensions, and engineer requirements before treating one standard as acceptable in place of another.

AASHTO to ASTM Equivalents

These are the closest direct equivalents commonly seen in highway and fastener specifications.
